Challenge

Design a full brand system and promotional materials for the new Netflix Original Series Astray.

SOLUTION

Create a full design plan for the series, with a word mark logo. Use word mark with other graphics to create mockup of Astray in Netflix’s new user interface as well as there top 10 list. Create promotional materials including graphics for coming soon and Instagram post mockup.

Looking Back

Making this brand system was quite enjoyable as I have always wanted to create a design system for a TV series. I felt like I captured the idea of “Astray” well throughout all pieces.

Moving Forward

If I were to do this again, I would play more with the text in the primary word mark. I think the word mark itself is strong, but could be further developed with more intentional distortion throughout.
